CHDS-Nepal welcomes its thesis student and a research intern for 2018

It is our pleasure to welcome two new members in our team.

Satya Raj Poudel

Satya Raj Poudel is an MSc Microbiology thesis student from St. Xavier’s college. Satya Raj will be working on the project, “Determination of infection potential and genetic structure of microbes from healthcare and municipal wastes in Kathmandu, Nepal”, under the supervision of Dr. Deena Shrestha and Bivek Timalsina.


Samikshya Kafle

Samiskhya Kafle is an MSc. Biotechnology student at Central Department of Biotechnology, Tribhuvan University, Kathmandu. Samikshya will be working in the position of Research Intern and her study focuses on  “Analysis of EGFR mutations in non-small cell lung carcinoma patients visiting Nepal Cancer Hospital and Research Center”.
